Slurp soup for brain cancer research! Join cookbook author, cancer patient, and Seattle soup lady Caroline Wright at her monthly soup stand – think lemonade stand, but soup instead – in front of the Book Larder cookbook shop from 11-2 pm. Pick up a copy of one of her soup cookbooks and have her sign it while sipping a soup made from one of her favorite recipes. 100% of proceeds benefit the American Brain Tumor Association.
The need for better brain tumor treatments and more help for patients is greater than ever. Brain tumors are still very hard to treat because of something called the blood-brain barrier, which makes it tough for medicine to reach the tumor. Brain tumor patients need more options.
That’s why we’re meeting hope head on—because donations lead to research, research leads to better treatments, and better treatments bring us closer to a cure.
This spring, your gift will be matched dollar for dollar thanks to the generosity of two anonymous donors!
