Team ABTA is made up of dedicated individuals who run, bike or swim the extra mile to raise funds for brain tumor research and patient programs. From people who’ve never run more than a mile to annual marathoners, members of Team ABTA all have a common goal, to find a cure.
- A group of friends who biked across Iowa in honor of their friend who was diagnosed with GBM.
- A six-year Anaplastic Astrocytoma survivor who runs the Bank of America Chicago Marathon every year since her diagnosis.
- A brain tumor support group leader who tackles 13.1 miles for her first-ever race to support patients and their loved ones.
