"I AM ONE IN 468"

ABTA Launches Public Awareness & Fundraising Campaign

Considered a rare disease, public awareness of brain tumors continues to remain low. And yet, with 1 in 468 people living with a brain tumor, it’s likely everyone knows someone impacted.

A group of courageous brain tumor patients, survivors and caregivers, are sharing their stories through the “I AM ONE IN 468” campaign to help the public understand that while brain tumors are a rare disease, it’s actually Closer Than They Know.

We hope the campaign will elevate awareness of this unforgiving disease, and inspire the public and brain tumor community to make a donation to help the ABTA fund patient programs and research.

As you meet Brandon, Billi, Yessenia, Sharon and Brian, you’ll see that many members of our community are battling this disease during the pandemic, serving as a reminder that brain tumors don’t stop for a pandemic.

Let’s unite to support them with critical patient services and breakthrough brain tumor research.
