ways to
donate
A gift to the ABTA helps improve, extend, and ultimately save the lives of people affected by brain tumors.
Donations like yours help to increase awareness, support patients and caregivers, and fund groundbreaking research into the causes of and treatment for brain tumors.
Meet Hope Head On
Meet Hope Head On is a five-year $50-million campaign that will give us the resources we need to triple our research investment, double the patients we serve, and double federal funding for brain tumor research.
Memorial & Honor GIving
Donating to the ABTA is a meaningful way to recognize someone whose life has been impacted by a brain tumor. With your gift, you can honor key milestones in a brain tumor survivor’s life, or convey the sense of loss when a friend or loved one loses their battle with this disease.
Planned Giving
Our Director of Individual Giving will work with you to shape the most meaningful legacy possible. Want to direct your gift toward a specific purpose or focus area? We’ll make the whole process easy and rewarding, from start to finish.
Partners & Sponsors
Through partnerships and sponsorships, the American Brain Tumor Association can have an even greater impact on the brain tumor community. Your help and partnership advances our mission of finding a cure for brain tumors and brain cancer.
Monthly Recuring Gifts
Monthly gifts like yours are the backbone of our organization, a simple and effective way to have sustained impact. Simply pick a monthly amount that fits your budget. You can change your gift amount and giving schedule at any time.
Charitable Shopping
Many companies you shop with regularly graciously donate a portion of product sales to our organization. All you have to do is specify that you want a percentage of your bill to go towards the ABTA. So go ahead, forget the guilt and shop for a cause.
Employer Matching Gifts
With matching gifts, you can sometimes double or even triple your donation! Many employers offer matching gift programs. We can help you determine if your employer is on the list of donors.
Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs)
Think of a donor-advised fund (DAF) like a charitable savings account. It gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted. It may also help you eliminate capital gains taxes. And you decide when the assets actually leave your DAF and go to charity.
Kramer Society
Kramer Society members are individuals and family foundations who invest in the American Brain Tumor Association’s mission with annual giving of $5,000 or more. You’ll get special recognition and special benefits when you donate at this level.
