Unite & Make a Difference at a BT5K

As we recognize Brain Tumor Awareness Month, there are several opportunities for you to get involved and raise critical funds for the brain tumor community!

The ABTA Breakthrough for Brain Tumors 5K Run & Walk is held across the country and brings together patients, families, and friends to celebrate survivors and honor the memories of loved ones.

As thousands have gathered in Tampa, Chicago, and Michigan this year to show their support, we hope you can join us in person or virtually this year!

Since 2006, people like you have helped us raise more than $34 million for brain tumor research and patient support services.

See below for the upcoming schedule. Have a question or need help with registration? Email events@abta.org.

Register for an upcoming BT5K:

Columbus: Saturday, June 3

Virtual: September 9 – September 23

Twin Cities: Saturday, October 7

Los Angeles: Saturday, October 14

San Francisco: Saturday, November 4

New York: Sunday, November 12

Make a Difference TOday

Your generosity fuels progress. The American Brain Tumor Association has already invested over $35 million in life-changing brain tumor research, leading to breakthroughs like the FDA approval of vorasidenib, a groundbreaking treatment for low-grade glioma.

Through our Meet Hope Head On campaign, we’re not just funding critical research—we’re also providing free resources and support to patients and caregivers navigating the challenges of a brain tumor diagnosis.
