The 2019 American Brain Tumor Association National Conference will bring together patients, caregivers, researchers and medical professionals from around the country to network with others in the brain tumor community. This year’s event will take place at the Loews Chicago O’Hare in Rosemont, Ill. September 6-7 and, for the first time, be held in conjunction with the ABTA Alumni Research Network Meeting (September 4-6). More information will begin rolling out soon.
2019 Cater to the Cure

It was a cold and snowy winter night in Chicago. But that didn’t stop friends and family members from coming out to the sixth annual Cater to the Cure on Saturday, January 28 at the Chicago Cultural Center. More than 100 guests enjoyed an evening of delicious eats and drinks, fabulous silent auction items, and great music – all to support the ABTA.
Organized by ABTA Board of Directors member Brandon Starkoff and his wife, Amy, along with sisters Katie Bishop and Jennie Bishop, the cocktail event brought in more than $50,000 to support critical brain tumor research and enhanced patient service programs. To date, this event has raised more than $350,000 for the ABTA.
