These opportunities, presented by the American Brain Tumor Association in the upcoming year, help you to embrace resilience and build personal momentum.

ABTA is right here alongside you offering resources, programs and events to meet these goals in ways that consider your wellness and safety. Here are a few opportunities in early 2021:  

Breakthrough for Brain Tumor 5K Run & Walks (BT5K Your Way): Virtual 5Ks with the versatility to elevate awareness of brain tumors and the needs of the community; express your desire to share your journey, while helping to raise critical funds for brain tumor research and patient programs. Join us anytime, anywhere!  

Educational Webinars: Educational sessions to learn more about brain tumor types, treatments and the latest research. Webinars are free 60-minutes sessions and allow for questions with presenting experts. Topics include clinical trials, managing neuropsychiatric symptoms, post-surgery strategies and more. 

Runners Wanted: Team ABTA at Chicago MarathonIt’s a new year and the Bank of America Chicago Marathon is back! With limited spots available, register now to join Team ABTA in raising critical funds for brain tumor research and support services.

Patient & Family Meetings: Held virtually in 2021, Patient & Family Meetings are free educational meetings for brain tumor patients and loved ones to hear from medical experts on the latest brain tumor treatment and care. New this year: each meeting  addresses specific topics for newly diagnosed, caregivers and survivors

Golf Challenge: Held in June, the ABTA Golf Challenge is the sweet spot that combines your love of golf and support for the brain tumor community. Golfers from around the country will tee off at their local golf course, while competing nationally for the coveted ABTA Golf Challenge Champion trophy.
